Melinda has close to thirty years of experience as a health care industry leader. She has developed innovative approaches to transform health care experience and outcomes through authentic consumer engagement and creating cultures of partnership with those with lived experience across numerous organizations, including Commonwealth Care Alliance, BCBSMA, Massachusetts Health Quality Partners, and Harvard Pilgrim Health Care (Now Point 32 Health). She has been engaged in national activities and has served on several national advisory boards focused on measuring and reporting patient care experiences, improving the patient-centered delivery of care, and embedding the consumer voice into the design of health system innovations. She holds an MBA in Health Care Management from Boston University and a BA in Psychology from Duke University.
